Defects & Damages
We make every effort to ensure that wax warmers arrive undamaged. We do not ship broken devices. We can assure your warmer left our location undamaged and properly packaged for shipment. However, in the event you receive one damaged during shipment to you, please take digital photographs of the outer shipping container (where signs of drops, crushing, punctures, or tears are obvious) as well as the damaged caused to the warmer.
Contact us here to initiate a defect or damage resolution. We will reply with additional questions. Please be prepared to provide photographs of the damage along with a receipt or order number.
We will work with you to determine the best possible resolution. This might include a refund, an exchange, or store credit (to select an alternative item). We may also require you to return the damaged item to us, in which case we’ll provide you a prepaid shipping label. In the event of a defect (not caused by damage), such as a defective bulb or electrical component, we will either work with or defer you to the manufacturer to initiate a claim on their product guarantee. This may result in you receiving replacement parts (for bulbs) or an entirely new device.
Product Disclaimers
The following scenarios are not considered defects or damages. Credits, refunds, exchanges, or refunds will not be provided for these scenarios.
Wax Melts
- Cracked Wax Melts: Wax melts are made of brittle wax and are made to break apart for use. Packaging for wax melts can become squeezed during shipping or handling causing the cubes to crack along the natural divider lines. Wax melts will perform the same as if you had broken them apart yourself.
- Heat Exposed Wax Melts: Packages may get hot during shipment or while sitting outside your house after delivery. Prolonged exposure to heat or sun may cause your wax melts to sweat, soften, partially melt, or become unleveled. Wax melts will perform the same as expected.
- Crystallization and/or Frosting on Wax Melts: We use soy wax in our products. Soy wax is superior in many ways but is notorious for these natural effects of natural vegetable waxes. Soy wax often appears crystalized in spots or has white frosting on the bottoms, sides, or edges. This is common and natural in soy waxes and occurs as the wax solidifies after being poured from a liquid state. Wax melts will perform the same as expected.
- Dents, Divets, Holes, or Tunneling on Wax Melts: Soy wax melts sometimes cool and solidify with imperfect surfaces. You are not receiving less product than expected. We pour our wax melts by weight. You will receive no less than the weight listed on the product package. We often pour more than advertised. Wax melts will perform the same as expected.
Wax Warmers
- Ceramic Glaze Imperfections: Ceramic warmers are hand-crafted and hand-glazed by the manufacturer. Many of these ceramic warmers use a reactive glaze process where a base coat and top coat are applied, which then “reacts” to heat in the kiln. The result is a one-of-a-kind glazed look that can be slightly different from warmer to warmer. Occasionally, these contain small blemishes such as pock marks, pin holes, indentations, smears, streaks, glaze voids, and other common imperfections in the glaze surface. This only adds to the unique character of your personal warmer.
